I decided to begin drawing again, following a list of challenges on a Yahoo group called "Everyday Matters". I wanted tight restrictions on myself, to stay focused I guess, so I decided to draw only things on that list that I could connect to a Bob Dylan lyric. So the only text that I'll include on my drawings will be lyrics. And I'll list the song the lyric is from. So here we go...

Women! Hmmph. ;) This one has a differnt feel to it! I like it. Different medium?
Well, it's different from what I normally do. It's just watercolor over Prismacolor pencil. I wanted it to look like an old, old darkened newspaper add, sort of. It's a bit yellower in person. I was tempted to do a really cute picture, all full of flowers and bluebirds, but decided not to. So it's a vintage, tired old washer. Kind of like me! :)
I really like this one, the colours, text and the washer. The text to it is funny, but it was what you wrote that was really funny "for you who are younger, this is a washing machine..." I heard two young girls talk about what they called vintage clothing, and then when one of the girls said "Oh I know, 80's is like so long ago" I couldnt help my self but laugh out loud "vintage!!!" Then I guess Im antique
HAHA! I knew some people would have NO clue. It's so funny what some younger people don't know. And I know what you mean about "vintage! Seems unreal. ButI guess we did the same things when we were younger.
.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is fun. Nice job. My mother-in-law woudn't have any other kind of washer. That's when I knew she was a bit off, lol.
My mom was like that for a while too. She could run my dad's and brothers' pants through and they;d crease just fine and she didn't have to iron them. Other than that...too much work! :)
