Real Ukrainian egg dyers may poo poo this, and probably
rightfully so. They are absolute geniuses. But this was
fun. Not as meticulous as their work, but fun. The egg
carton lacks a lot in personality too, but hey! What can I say?
The lyrics are from the song "Highlands"

This actually needs some touching up, so I may replace the image
after I've done that. But I want to post it today because I might
wind up putting it off way too long and I'm trying to stay active.
Also, I used a line from a song I have already used, which I hadn't
planned on doing. But I thought of another image I want to use for
the song I first thought of, and so I chose to use this one. I'll do the
other one later.
The lyrics are from "Tangled up in Blue"

This one was done really quickly, just for the heck of it.
No great work, maybe not even good, but just in time for Halloween.
The lyrics are from "Changing of the Guards"

My son thought this one should say "When your rooster crows
at the BEAK of dawn" which I thought was pretty funny, but decided
against. I may one day do a series of drawings with plays on words
like that but not this time.
The lyrics are from "Don't Think Twice, it's All Right".

Well it started out good, I think. I thought it would fun to
do a play on words and draw Madame Butterfly instead of a
real butterfly. It came out too cutesy. And then...and this is
the big one...I forgot to allow for the handle of the umbrella.
What's it doing, coming out of her head? Sheesh! I should
have done it more like the Japanese woodcuts. In any case,
here she is.
The lyric is from "Tight Connection to my Heart"

Again with the lettering. I seem to do fine when I'm practicing,
but then I tighten up and blow it on the page. Ah well, back to the practice pads.
The lyric for this drawing is from the song "North Country Blues"
